Dr. Kwesi R. Kamau
Dr. Kwesi R. Kamau is the founding and Lead Pastor of the Impact Church DFW, a fast growing innovative church designed to engage, empower, and equip people to fully live out their God-given purpose. He is a gifted Bible teacher and preacher with a passion to share the Gospel from the neighborhood to the nations in this generation. His ministry is about building leaders for Christ, empowered to make a difference in the world.
Dr. Kamau has served in full-time ministry for nearly thirty years in the Midwest, South, and West Coast. He is the author of several published articles and the books, A Passion for Christ, A Passion for Souls: Encouragement for the Day and A Passion for Prayer: The Secret is Out.
He attended Wheaton College and the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, where he earned his Master of Divinity Degree. He has also studied across the United States and abroad visiting countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dr. Kamau holds a Doctor of Ministry in Evangelism and Mission from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University.
He and his wife Monti have five children, Nia Adeyla, Jada Ahnye, Bailey Imani, Josiah Christian and Jeremiah Richard.
